Enhance your Account Security with Two Factor Authentication
Two Factor Authentication is an extra layer of security designed to ensure that anyone trying to gain access to your account online has to verify not only a password but also a second piece of information. With Two Factor Authentication a compromise of just one of these pieces of information is not enough to gain access to the account. So even if your password is stolen or you lose your phone, the chances of someone gaining access to your account is much less likely.
To set up 2FA Follow this Step by Step Process
Online Banking:
- Login to your online baking account
- Hover over security on the title navigation bar
- Click Change My Security Settings
- Scroll down to security options and select edit
- Choose between phone, authenticator, or email as a way to receive your 2FA code.
If you are new to Two Factor Authentication we recommend you choose phone are email as a way to receive your one time codes.
Mobile Banking:
- Login to your mobile banking application
- Click the more button in the bottom right corner
- Click the setting wheel in the upper right corner
- Click my settings
- Scroll down to security options and click edit
- Choose between phone, authenticator, or email as a way to receive your 2FA code.
